Play pretend

Just recently Ning like to pretend that she is a 秃鹰 (don't want to be an eagle anymore), wonder is it the 'influence' of the VCD cartoon "Ice Age 2"? hmm.... Anyway, these are the photos taken when the '秃鹰' is pretending to sleep in her big round wooden 'nest', hahahaha =D

2 Little Ones

This weekend did not bring the little ones to any place special, staying at home most of the time, glad that I manage to take few photos of them together. =D Ning sometimes a bit 粗鲁 when hugging her didi, but think Kai sort of 'get used to it', anyway, what can he do? hahaha =D

One Nice Photo =D

This photo was taken yesterday evening when Peter come to my mum's house after work. Recently discovered that if I set my hp to take pic using its timer, the photo will then be much more sharper, so yesterday evening I try again, and this is one of the photos taken. I like it very much, but also can't help feeling 'jealous' that why such nice photo is not me with the kids ;p this is the disadvantage of being like to be a photographer - you always wont be inside the picture ;p

Today is Mother's Day, this is not the first Mother's Day for me as a mother, but somehow this year is a special/different one, cos I got a 'gift' from Ning, which is actually her art work done in school, maybe she do it without special meaning/feelings, but it give me special feelings, I feel good =D

Today me and Peter took half day leave and we bring Ning to the Jurong Birdpark, my last visit was more than 5 years ago, wowo. We go visit the penguins and owls, both are Ning's favourite. Then we took the 'train' and alight at the next stop - Lory Stop and visit the Lory Loft, must say that both me and Ning enjoyed ourselves when walking on the bridges, which are 'in the air', we even go for the second round, and while walking, parrots and birds flying pass us or stopped on the bridges, really an experience for me =D Next we go visit the eagles, which is Ning's favourite too, not forget the Ostrich, as it is the 'Dinosaur Descendants', then after visit few more places and the waterfall, we took the train back, and was about 20 minutes early for the "Birds of Prey Show", so I brought Ning to the playground behind to play a while. The seats about 2/3 full when the show starts, Ning enjoyed herself seeing few types and many eagles flying about, next time should sit at the front row to have 'closer contact' with the birds, and Peter bought Ning a snow owl soft toy at the end of the show, which is half price at $10. The snow owl is Ning's latest favourite toy now, hahahaha =D

Today Ning's kindergarten is having Sport Day, is a pity that I have to attend course and Peter got something on too, thus my mum is the one who accompany Ning and give her 'support' =D Was told by my mum that quite lot of parents present there, and when is turn for Ning's class to do the 'sport', each of them suppose to use a container to scoop water and pour into the tank at the other end, then run back. And guess what, Ning was too shy to run to the other end (cos few parents are at the other side), end up the teacher have to hold her hand and accompany her there, but no problem when running back. Everyone got a trophy in the end, quite a nice one. Hope next time I am able to be present and give Ning support =D
