Tempura mushrooms =D

Do these look delicious to you? First time try to make tempura mushrooms ('golden needle' mushroom and portabella). Hmm… not as easy as I thought, after trials and errors, finally got these nice and yummy result =D~~~ I bought those ready-flour-mixture, think the most will make one more time to finish the other half packet of flour, find this dish although is yummy but oily lei ;p

Mushroom Fries =D~~~

Yesterday I bought few types of mushroom and decided to have 'mushroom feast' at home. I cooked the 3 types of mushroom separately (but with about same type of seasoning), for Portabella mushroom I tried stir frying and 'grilling' method, hmm… still got room of improvement. Personally like this dish most, new invention from me, I simply name it 'mushroom fries' bah =D The ingredients are Eryngii mushroom (the name on the packaging) or Xing1 Bao1 Gu1, some mushroom seasoning and some parsley flakes, actually if want to add some tom yam paste or chilli flakes also can. I love it, cos it got the Q-Q chewing feel, heehee, yum yum, sure will cook it again =D
Hmm… am considering to buy a nice plate, so next time I put the cooked mushroom on top and take pic, sure the pic looks nicer and yummier than when put inside the black pot. =D

My farm on Day 1 - Oct 22

I planted the seeds on 21 Oct night.

Yesterday when I reach home to take a look at my 'farm', was surprised to find that some of the seeds show signs of growing!!! And yesterday just Day 2 only, I disturbed the 'farm' quite a bit cos want to take clearer pics of the growing seeds.

Later feel that I shouldn't do so, so I put a mini button near a seed as 'marking' so as to observe its growing-process. Do you notice at pic-2 near bottom right, there are 2 seeds still not growing? =D

I am the type of person who willing to spend some time and effort to cook food which I want to eat, this one I cooked for myself last Sunday ago. =) Yummy yummy

Vegetable Growing Kit for Kids =)

Yesterday got my Vegetable Growing Kit for Kids, then last night start to grow vegetable (Chye Sim) with Ning, hmm… not easy lei, don't know how many seeds to put (only put half a pack as it say too crowded wont grow well), and also don't know how much water to put then enough (cos also told that too little or too much water the crop don't grow well too), now hopefully the seeds will grow. =D

Chocolate milk ice-cream =)~~

Last Sunday, use the ice-cream mold bought at Daiso to make ice-cream. I just pour the chocolate milk into the mold and put inside the freeze, after few hours, can get chocolate milk ice-cream already, Ning like it very much, and we say we going to make red bean ice-cream next time, when her daddy go buy the dessert from the dessert stall first, heehee =)~~~

New protection cover for my netbook =)

This is the custom skin I get for my netbook using my own design, is it cute?
Last night when I peeling off the original protection sheet from my netbook cover, Peter said: "Finally you willing to peel it off." Then when he see me going to paste the netbook skin onto the cover, he 'frown' a bit. Hmm… actually feel that my netbook looks nice with its red colour, but since already get this protection thing, so just use it, but I keep the original transparent protection sheet by pasting it over the Pompompurin… hahaha =D

Outing on Children Day 2009 =D

On Children Day, we took leave and bring the kids (my mum and sis going along) to visit 3 places, see if you know where are these places. Seldom have this type of outing, but was really tire after that ;p Kai is the first to get 'battery flat', fall asleep when we having the nature walk, while Ning surprisingly being walking for the whole morning. =)
